Pokémon have released some exciting news regarding the much anticipated 25th anniversary set - titled 'Celebrations'!
This special expansion set will contain over 45 cards, including Pokémon from all eight regions explored since the beginning of the series in the 1990s.
Most notably, 'Celebrations' will include a subset of 25 cards containing 'close remakes' of some of the most iconic Pokémon - one of which is a reprint of the base set Charizard!
This subset is titled 'Classic Collections' and will also include Umbreon ☆, Tapu Lele-GX and many more!
Unlike XY - Evolutions, the reprints in this set are likely to be exact reprints of the original cards, though all cards from this set will include 25th anniversary stamps in the bottom right corner of the card artwork - as they are in the First Partner packs.
'Celebrations' booster packs will contain 4 cards - all holographic - and will not be sold separately, but rather in special box and tin products.
